The Aviators : Here comes the sun

Introducing "The Aviators" series, beginning with "Here Comes the Sun."

This narrative takes us back to a vibrant gathering of street performers at a festival in Chalon-sur-Saône, France. The central theme revolves around pilots in captivity and their resilience as they wistfully imagine a freer future.

The intriguing interplay between the actors and their shadows caught my attention, drawing me into their world. This interaction was so fascinating, it compelled me to capture multiple photographs, cementing this ephemeral spectacle into a permanent state.

Inspiration flowed from various sources—one of which was the Holocaust film, "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas." The film's poignant narrative left an indelible imprint that found its way into the interpretation of the images I had captured.

To transform the original photograph, I employed the use of multiple digital projections. This allowed me to blend the image seamlessly with a previously photographed texture. I opted for a sepia-toned filter to wrap the final piece in a historical aura, adding depth and drama to the creation.
