While designing and fabricating the interior of his bar and disco in Utrecht Netherlands involving a great deal of metal Ruud was captivated by the material and decided to exit the nightlife.Not being formally educated in the arts gives him an advantage of an open mind and total unconstricted, or steered methodology.
His self taught techniques is a process of trial and error. Hence his eclectic approach
Influences
His inspirations are derived from nature, architecture, geometrics, chemical manipulation and the materials at hand. His personal lifecycle is presumably a reflection of the sheer diversity embodied in his works. Even though his mind and methods are quite chaotic he strives for perfection and equilibrium.
