Influences
My inspiration for my independent work comes from the events and phases in my own life or what is happening around me. I often seek a model to capture during the painting process, only to let go of it later to make it more abstract, creating a sense of intrigue and power. When I create art, it is not just about capturing a moment or a likeness. It is about delving deeper, exploring the complexities of the human experience, and expressing the internal battles and emotions that reside within. It is in these personal moments of reflection and release that I find the true essence of my artistic voice. When working on commissioned pieces, I take the time to visit the client's home, to immerse myself in the ambiance, and to discover how they perceive life. It is during these moments, often over a cup of coffee, that beautiful conversations unfold, providing me with valuable insights to create something that truly resonates with their life and harmonizes with their interior. During such exchanges, ideas for composition and color scheme start to form in my mind. It is always a collaborative process, and I find great importance in delivering an end result that exceeds expectations and brings a sense of surprise and delight.
