Bio
Trained as an art teacher. After that, I attended art school. I have always been fascinated by color, not only in art but also in our surroundings. After teaching adults for several years, I started my own consultancy as a color and sensory specialist for the built environment. I further developed my skills in visual arts and photography, where color plays an important role. In 2020, I published the book "The Grammar of Color".
Influences
Nature, light, and color are my biggest sources of inspiration, but I also draw inspiration from famous artists such as Degas, Monet, Ruud van Empel, or specific art movements such as Art Deco. Photography is a medium for me to achieve a goal, to realize my images from a painterly perspective.
